Restaurant Pee Nong (Thai Food) Pandan Indah

Personally I recommend those who love Thai and spicy foods to pay a visit to this restaurant.It was located near the Restaurant 2020. I apologize that I can't provide the map for u.
Eventually, I went there few years passed and thinking to celebrate my birthday there yesterday. It turned out the foods are still as fresh, special, tasty and spicy after so many years. One thing I must emphasis here is the customer service. The customer service was excellent!

"For instance, one of my next table had order a fried vermicelli. The shop manager/boss went over and ask them how's the foods? They respond that the vermicelli was a bit harden to eat. Then the manager immediately pick up a chopstick and ask for permission to try the food. After that, he further explained to the customer on the foods on why they serve it that way. The customer seems to be happy with his clear explanation. He also promise to customize to their preference on the next visit."



My personal recommend would be the grilled lamb. The lamb was tasty and not over-grilled. It was chop into smaller pieces as well. Favorably, there is two ways to eat it;original or dim with their special sauce. The original taste is like the "Char Siew" we eat outside. Further, If u dim with the special sauce, it taste a little bit like mint sauce but mix together with chili and lemon.
The texture of the lamb was good; neither too hard nor soft. U should give it a try if going to Pee Nong.


Another great dishes will be this fish. The fish was still swimming before it was served on ur table. The have 3 options for u to choose:
1. Less Spicy, Less Sour
2. Medium spicy, Medium Sour (It's still spicy!!!) <-- we order this
3. Extra spicy, Extra Sour (Nightmare Mode)

The magic portion about this dish, i called it as "The Killing After-Effect"(TKA). What is TKA?
TKA is when u drinking the soup and eat the fish, the level of spiciness is still acceptable by u. However, once u stop, an adrenaline rush of spiciness will comes within ur body. It force u to intake water to kill the "fire". This is TKA!

Thus, we do order the Thai famous small dish, chilli chicken feet (玻璃鸡脚）. The taste is a bit sweet and spicy. If you rank the level of spiciness from 1 - 5, I'll put it as 2 compare to the fish 4. The chicken feet bone was removed for easy intake. It more or like the western salad but the only different here is in Thai Edition.

Finally, the prices is reasonable as it is only RM79 for this delicious meal. We went there by 3 persons, if u divide RM79/3, it is around RM26 per person only.
